I celebrate you all . While the presidential election petition tribunal judgement did not go in our favor, I thank God with so much gratitude in my heart for the opportunity to serve during the presidental election period and the enduring spirit of democracy that unites us.
In the face of adversity, we must remember that our great nation Nigeria was founded on the principles of freedom, justice, and the will of the people. Democracy is a continuous journey, not a destination. It thrives on the diversity of voices and ideas, and it flourishes when we engage in open dialogue and civil discourse.
Losing an election is not a defeat of our ideals; it is a testament to the strength of our democratic system. It is a reminder that the power to choose our leaders rests with the people, and their decision must be respected. We may have different visions for our country, but our shared commitment to the values that define us should always be greater than any political rivalry.

I may not be happy that we didn’t win this election, but I have not lost faith in the enduring principles that make our nation strong. I remain committed to the values of democracy, and I will continue to serve our community and our country in whatever capacity I can.

The promise of a better, more prosperous Nigeria seems to shimmer just beyond our reach, tantalizingly close yet constantly elusive. But one thing remains certain – the unwavering determination of the Nigerian people to keep pushing for a greater nation.
Nigeria, Africa’s most populous nation and one of its largest economies, is no stranger to political turbulence. Decades of mismanagement, corruption, and instability have left the nation’s citizens yearning for a brighter future. The mirage in Nigerian politics refers to the continuous cycle of hope and disillusionment that has characterized the country’s political landscape.
Promises made during election campaigns often seem like a mirage, disappearing once politicians assume office. High expectations are met with the harsh reality of unfulfilled pledges, leaving many disillusioned. Yet, despite the recurring disappointment, Nigerians persist in their quest for positive change.
The mirage is not without its mirages of progress. Over the years, Nigeria has seen moments of political stability, economic growth, and social progress. However, these glimpses of a better Nigeria are often overshadowed by the persisting challenges of corruption, insecurity, and poverty.

The 2015,2019 and 2023 general elections in Nigeria marked significant milestones in the country’s democratic journey. The peaceful transfer of power from one political party to another demonstrated the resilience of Nigeria’s democratic institutions. These moments, though not without flaws, represented small steps toward achieving the elusive mirage of a more just and prosperous nation.
To bring about lasting change, Nigeria must address the root causes of its political challenges. This includes tackling corruption, improving security, investing in education and healthcare, and fostering economic growth that benefits all citizens, not just a privileged few.
The mirage in Nigerian politics may seem endless, but it serves as a reminder that the journey toward a greater Nigeria is a long and arduous one. Progress may be slow, and setbacks are inevitable, but the Nigerian people’s determination remains unshaken.
In the face of adversity, Nigerians must continue to hold their leaders accountable, participate in the democratic process, and advocate for positive change.
