Delta Council Election 2024: APC Constitutes Committee

The State Working Committee  (SWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Delta State Chapter, has constituted a seven-man Committee to oversee the scheduled Delta State Local Government Election.

 Rising from an emergency meeting today 7th May, 2024, held at the Party’s State Secretariat, Asaba, the SWC approved the appointment of the Committee.

Members of the committee included: Mr. Johnson Okoro (Chairman), Valentine Onojeghuo Esq (Secretary), Mrs. Hoplyn Ayu, Mr. Famous Oyibo, Bawo Edema Esq, Mr. Sylvanus Ossai Anatram-and Chief Mrs. Onyeisi Ochei.

According to a statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Valentine Onojeghuo Esq, the Committee shall amongst other things organise and supervise the sales of forms, screening exercise and conduct primaries for prospective aspirants of the Party.

The SWC also fixed the 25th-26th of May, 2024 for the conduct of primaries.
