Chief Isaac Anwuzia celebrates INE-FESTIVAL in Ogwashi Uku

 

In a show of cultural affinity and social integration, the member representing Aniocha South Local Government in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Chief Isaac Anwuzia celebrated INE-FESTIVAL in Ogwashi Uku.

Wednesday the 21st of October became a day of social and cultural display as politicians from across the state and traditional rulers converged in the Ogwa Nagbesei , in Umuneze Ogwashi Uku.

The ceremony which began in the morning with youths dancing to the rhythms of the traditional drums, however, culminated in dance of allegiance to the traditional ruler of the Kingdom.

The Ogwa Nagbesei became a confluence of influential people; politicians, traditional rulers, business leaders and youth leaders. Among the politicians that came in solidarity were the deputy speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Arthur Akpowowo, the Director General DESOPADEC , Chief Festus Ochonogor, former Delta state Chairman of the PDP, Chief Edwin Uzor, the Board Chairman of Delta Broadcasting Service, Hon Austin Chikezie, the Obi of Egbudu Akah among so many.

Food and entertainment was in excess as so many traditional delicacies was served to guests in the expansive family compound of the Nagbesei. While this draws the cotten on the traditional festivities of the year 2025 in Ogwashi Uku Kingdom, people are already looking forward to the traditional calendar for 2026 and praying for life and prosperity.
